After some research, as a group we decided that the wall plaques would look nice if engraved or typed onto card, and then placed over the top of a coloured acrylic sheet of plastic, showing the colour as a neat border for te plaque. These plaques, will include our names and a short summary about ourselves. At first we thought that some wall vinyl might look good and stand out against the wood of the walls, but after looking at the rules and regulations that the university have declared, we found out that we may not be able to stick these onto the room.
After this decision, we then agreed to use the acrylic idea, and continue with that. We plan on making a few tests in the upcoming weeks, and will be sure to try out some different colours, although we are thinking of keeping the colours to White, Black and Purple. Purple also being the key colour in the London Metropolitan logo, we thought this would be a nice idea and keep to the theme of the University.
