Dreamworks Exhibitions

After doing some online research, I have managed to find some relevant images that show various exhibition layouts for animation companies etc. They tend to display storyboards and concept art images up on the walls using large vinyls, or sometimes project clips and production stills. Some production companies display work in progress or place 3D models around the room depicting the characters as they were being experiemented with during the pre production process.

This Dreamworks exhibition is very neat, and ties in with the theme of the film being shown. Because of the nature of Madagascar, it seems that they have used wood displays and jungle-like background vinyls for their walls. The running theme is nice and attracts attention, allowing people to automatically see what the display is about.

This is another Dreamworks exhibition, with the majority of the concept and storyboard images being placed on wall space. The allowes more breathing space for the area itself and for people to walk around and view the artwork. However, some of the images may look cramped and untidy. 3D models are dangled from the center of the room, which I think is a wonderful idea and fills the room, without looking too messy. Test models could be displayed this way as well other pieces of artwork.
