Because I found once scene difficult to animate, I placed a camera onto a tripod and filmed myself copying the same actions. This helped when animating the human Caveman character, because I could see how the skeleton works when doing the same animations in real life.
This was one of the earlier scenes in the film, when the Caveman gets up from sitting on the floor after sighting the field of grazing deer.
