After some trials with the original idea of the stop motion animation using pastels on rock, I decided that the quality would be very low and I wanted an animation I could complete digitally that would be more efficient. I decided to create a cut out animation, which in a way gives the illusion of stop motion animaton but can be created with muh less time and equipment to set up.
These are the final designs that I created using Adobe Illustrator, with each limb that I would like to move being a seperate layer from the rest of the body. This allows movment for the character such asarms, legs and head. There are also multiple expressions for the human Cave man.
