This is the final product for the Aduna project. I finished the tree by adding small clay replicas of the Baobab fruit and attached them to the main tree using painted string. The string painted green looks similar to the vines that the fruit hang from and looks a little tider than just using any coloured string.
Even though the tree is completed now, I have noticed that in some areas the clay has become slightly cracked and so care needs to be taken when handling it now. This also means that I can not go through with one of the original ideas to dangle some Aduna powder samples for people to take during the exhibition, as it may damage the tree's limbs when people tug at them.
