Method Testing

Here I am quickly testing what works well with the slate tile I am using for my major project. The pastels are easily erased using a wet sponge and the remaining wet patches can be easily dried using a hair dryer.

Once the animated frames have been created and saved, I can export them as individual JPEG images and project the from a small projector onto the slate tile. While the image is being projected, I can easilt transfer the image onto the slate using charcoals and pastel, tracing over the lines of the original drawing. The shadow in the bottom right corner of the projection is from the camera positioned on the tripod. The problem here being that if I were to move the camera to the opposite side of the slate, the images woul be taken upside down, creating a much longer editing process to rotate every image in post. I have made some alterations to the tripod so that the camera can be moved to the opposite side, but also take the images in the right orientation by moving the camera itself into a different position on the tripod. This shows that I have encountered a problem and solved it cheaply and efficiently.
