This is a quick stop-motion animation test I created in relation to the ADUNA project. Because they said one of the many ways of consuming the product was to add it to a smoothie, I decided to buy some pink felt and ecetate and make an animation that looks like someone adding the Baobab powder and then drinking it in one go.
I also managed to find a short tropical audio clip to go with the animation, which seemed quite dull on it's own. The music fits nicely with the animation and I have edited it slightly to fit. The Baobab powder I saw in the shops seemed quite expensive for just the small scene I was going to film, so I decided to use some left over flour instead, which has a similar consistency and colour.
Because the people who came in frm ADUNA asked us to raise awareness rather than sell the product, I made the animation look fun and enticing, especially with the vibrancy and fun music. I also tried not to stick to the African stereotype when searching for music, so I looked for general drum beats and tropical sounding audio which works just as well.
