Major Project: Ideas

I am still unclear on what my Major Project will be about yet, but so far I have been somewhat inspired by the style of cave paintings and would love to recreate this antique style but with the use of stop motion and perhaps some form of textiles, a form of art that I have always been interested in. I love the contrasting colours that are used in almost all of these paitnings, the boldness of the animals and the hunters compared to the pale rock background is beautiful.

I want to be able to capture that boldness in textiles, maybe by using different materials and animating the animals using different bits of fabric, similar to cut-out and silhouette animation. As far as story goes I am still not certain, but maybe due to the cave painting style, it could be related to the environment issues of late and how man was once one with the Earth just like animals.
